Congrats to Mary Dinh, Ambassadorial Scholar

June 21, 2011

Mary Dinh, a frequent visitor to the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise, former GSE team member, Paul Harris Fellow and a partner from UC Santa Barbara’s Engineers Without Borders, will receive a $27,000 Ambassadorial Scholarship to study in Liberia, Malawi or Kenya.

She hopes to use the scholarship to work with nonprofit Liberty & Justice, using her engineering skills to the benefit of Liberian women.

Thanks to the many Rotarians who supported her application to the District 5240 Scholarship Committee and helped her prepare for the interview.

This Fall, Mary will begin working toward her MBA at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
