8 Reasons to Attend the Inaugural Sundowners Wine Club Event
- As the name suggests, there will be wine.
- Bob McPhillips selected the wines, and he doesn’t serve bad stuff.
- You get to see Gary Jensen’s beautiful home, backyard and dog.
- Where there’s wine, there’s cheese.
- It will count as a meeting makeup.
- You’ll likely learn something.
- All the cool kids are doing it.
- You get to judge the wines like on those reality TV talent competitions.
The Sundowners Wine Club will be a teaching, tasting and frolicking event. Guests will get to taste a variety of Central Coast wines, enjoy some food, and talk with fellow Rotarians and their guests. Whether you’re a wine novice or expert, you’ll fit right in.
When: September 9, 2011. 5:30-7:30 PM.
Where: Gary Jensen’s house. Address will be provided after you RSVP.
How: Bring $19.95 at the door. Or $29.95 for a Rotarian and their guest.
Why: Did you not read the 8 reasons above?
What else?: We’ll also have an optional wine swap. Bring a bottle of wine for our exchange table. Everyone who brings a bottle will draw a number. Everyone with a number will get to select a different bottle to take home in the order of the numbers they drew. It’s like a wine draft!

Bummed to miss out. We’ll be on vacay. We’ll toast to you from wherever we are. Will come next time. Cheers!
Wine AND Cheese?
Hate to miss it but I’ll be at the President Elect’s Retreat that weekend.
Enjoy!
