What’s Your Rotary Resolution?
As the new year approaches, it’s a great time for reflection on and recommitment to the things we value — like Rotary!
I’d like to ask members to think about your role in Rotary, what you’d like to do or not do in the coming year, and how you may want to participate more or differently. Then, share your Rotary resolution(s) in the comments on this post.
Here are some more questions to spark your thinking:
- Why did you join Rotary? Are those reasons still important, and are you doing what you planned?
- How are you sharing your talents? How could you better use them in service?
- Where do you want to make a difference? This doesn’t just mean geographically, but also areas of service.
- Who do you want to work with?
Whether 2013 is the year you choose to do something huge — like go on a National Immunization Day or become a member of The Rotary Foundation Bequest Society — or whether it’s the year you join a new committee, show up at Rendezvous or deliver a powerful invocation, please share your Rotary resolution with the club.
Here’s to 2013 and all we can do together as Rotarians!
