November 1, 2013

A note from DG Jack McClenahan:

Nick Frankle is Rotary District 5240 Governor Nominee Designate for 2016-17.

I am pleased to confirm the District Nominating Committee selection of Nick Frankle as District Governor Nominee Designate for the Rotary year 2016-17.

Nick has been a member of the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise since 2003.

He served as Club president in 2006-2007 and led his club to the Best Medium Size Club award in the District that year.

He is currently District Communications Chair and District Rotary Foundation Document Retention Chair.

He is also involved at the Zone level, serving as the Zone 26 Assistant Membership/Ignite Coordinator.

Nick and his Rotarian wife Heather (Simi Sunrise) have been residents of Thousand Oaks since 1978.
Professionally, he works in high tech, leading teams that develop information processing and telecommunications systems for the US Government and global private industry.

He has brought some of that expertise to bear in improving the District website, timely posting of seminar presentations, online registration for events, and secure document retention for TRF grants.

Nick is known to District 5240 Rotarians for his recent past service as International Service Chair and Membership Chair.

Rotarians in all four regions of our District have had the benefit of his skillful presentations on the Ignite program, on membership development, and membership retention, among other topics.

Congratulations, Nick!
