Sunrise Rotary Bike Ride on Ojai Trail on Saturday, February 8

January 18, 2014
Everyone, including family members or friends, is welcome to join this easy fun bike ride to Ojai Saturday, February 8.   Depending on the group we will meet up for lunch in town at one or two locations.  There is Ojai Pizza, or the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa (outstanding vista over the golf course) terrific salads or pizza there too.You or your group may join the ride at various locations along the route.  The primary location is to meet at Casitas Visa Rd. under the bridge at 10:45.  It is about an hour ride to Ojai.  Others may select to start at Baldwin Rd (highway 150 from Carp) at the 33 or for those who want to walk they may start at the Ojai shopping center at the Y (Maricopa Highway at 33).  We meet at the Ojai fountain at noon at Libby Park.   Grab a map for the event at the Rotary breakfast.  Currently we have potentially 6 participants, the trail can handle 1000’s so don’t hold back.

If someone needs to borrow a bike, Steve Kally, who is organizing this event, claims to have 6 bikes hanging around the house. After lunch, participants are welcome to socialize at the Kally’s…for those who need more exercise there is paddle tennis court, and for those less athletic there is a pool table, and of course for the tired there are chairs.

Contact Steve Kally for more information.
